March 1st, 2010Galveston Hotel Employee Wins Hilton Award
Hampton Hotels, the international brand of more than 1,600 mid-priced Hampton Inn® and Hampton Inn & Suites® hotels, has honored Janice Premont, housekeeper, of the Hampton Hotels Hampton Inn & Suites with the company’s Spirit of Hampton Award. This award signifies Premont as a top performer within Hampton Hotels.
Nominated by their peers because of exemplary loyalty, attitude and service, the chosen team member continually exceeds expectations of both customers and fellow team members. Less than one percent of all Hampton Hotels team members internationally receive this honor each year.
Premont was nominated for the award by her peers after proving to be an exceptional role model. “Premont continues to make outstanding contributions to guests and team members, showing great enthusiasm in all areas of her work at the hotel,” said Peggy Franklin. We are proud of her recognition as a Spirit of Hampton Award winner, the company’s most prestigious team member award. Team members like Janice create a welcoming and exceptional experience for guests, and impacts other team members and creates a domino effect of great service. ”
Janice represents the true spirit of Hampton Suites. Employed since February 02, 2009, Janice has always tried to make our work environment more enjoyable on a daily basis for both guests and fellow employees and was active in helping Galveston recover from Hurricane Ike.
Hampton Suites Hotels, which has more than 1600 hotels worldwide, recognizes only a couple of hundred Team Members a year with this honor. As a recipient of the award, she will receive a cash prize of $350, a Spirit Award plaque and lapel pin, and other special recognition throughout their career with the Hilton family of hotels.
