“Festival Flamenco Internacional de Albuquerque is the most acclaimed Flamenco event in the country and recognized as one of the most important outside of Spain. Now in its 23rd year, this world-renowned dance festival offers a thrilling exploration – both through performance and education – of a vibrant cultural treasure.

Over 5,500 workshop participants and performance patrons attend Festival Flamenco annually. Incorporating all aspects of the art form – from its signature physical articulation of movement to cante, a particular way of singing – Festival Flamenco is a uniquely comprehensive flamenco experience. The five-day event includes over 30 workshops designed to engage all age and skill levels, and it features performances by such illustrious artists as Pilar Ogalla, Manuela Carrasco, Antón Jiménez and Andres Pena.”
