On Saturday, May 28 at 6 p.m. the LA Sparks head to the recently-renovated University Arena (“The Pit”) on the University of New Mexico campus, to take on Western Conference rival Phoenix Mercury. The game will feature five Olympic medalists (Parker, DeLisha Milton-Jones and Tina Thompson from the Sparks, plus Taurasi and Penny Taylor of the Mercury). This marks the first WNBA preseason contest in Albuquerque since 2006.

May 9th, 2011Great Job!!!!

Hello,

My name is Elliott Nance. I recently stayed at the Residence Inn Marriott Airport Albuquerque from May 4th through May 6th 2011.

I would like to provide feedback regarding my recent stay. My overall experience was exceptional. The room was very clean and well kept.

More specifically, I would like to recognize the exceptional service that I received from two of the Residence Inn Marriott Airport’s Staff members.

The Staff members are; Cristina and Lioba.

In complete honesty these two individuals, Cristina and Lioba were outstanding.

Here is how they exceeded my expectations;

-          When I arrived at the airport I phoned the front desk and Lioba quickly dispatched the shuttle to retrieve me from the airport.

-          Cristina picked me up in the shuttle. During the drive to the Residence Inn she was courteous, friendly and informed me that there

Would be a complimentary BBQ dinner that evening at 6pm. She also described all the other amenities of the Residence Inn.

-          After I checked in went to my room, I realized that I had left my prescription eyeglasses on the airplane. Needless to say, I panicked and ran back

Down to the lobby. Cristina immediately drove me back to the airport. She waited at the airport while I ran in to see if my glasses had been turned in.

Unfortunately they had not been turned in.

-          When I got back to the Residence Inn, Cristina took the personal initiative to look up the name and phone number of a place for me to get eyeglasses made in one hour. She wrote down the information and brought it to me in the lobby. She even offered to drive me there. It was thoughtful, considerate and definitely much appreciated.

Although I was unable to get the eyeglasses in time for my business meeting the next morning, I was very impressed. She actually cared and went well out of her way to assist me.

-          After that eyeglass situation, my wife phoned me and needed me to print out a form and fax it to my son’s physician. I was able to use the computer in the business center to quickly print out the form, after which Lioba at the front desk filled out a cover sheet and quickly faxed it to the necessary destination.

Great job!!!!  They definitely made me feel welcomed and important. I look forward to staying there again!

Guests are raving about The Residence Inn Albuquerque Airport’s great rooms and exceptional staff!!

“The staff is very friendly!! Also, having the business center opened for checking one’s email is good. Since not all rental cars have gps, it is very nice that the staff knows how to use mapquest and are very willing to provide printed maps of local destinations. EXCELLENT STAFF FROM THE FRONT DESK TO THE DINING ROOM TO ROOM SERVICE-again friendly helpul staff is the number one thing that keeps me using Residence Inn Albuquerque Airport.”

Our passion is to provide service so memorable our guests tell stories about it! See what guests are saying about The Residence Inn Albuquerque Airport..

” I cannot say enough about this hotel and the staff. In addition to the incredibly convenient ammenities, the housekeeping staff was always smiling and greeting us. The girls at the front desk greeted my two young girls straight away upon check-in. The gentleman who cared for the facilities was kind, warm, and inquired about out stay. The pool area was always clean and always stocked with clean towels. The front desk reps were professional and and humerous. Even though our stay was on a federal government discount, we were never treated as discounted guests and all staff smiled and greeted us, and our children, in the corridors. The little goodie bags for the girls were a huge hit and are still being carried around. It is of great importance to me that my children are treated as welcome customers when we are away from home. Thank you so very much. Our family looks forward to our next stay.”

Stayed here for two nights on a weekend visit to ABQ. Hotel looks brand new, very clean with stylish decor, and helpful and friendly staff. Exactly what you expect from a Residence Inn. Would absolutely recommend to others and would stay here again. A little out of the way from a variety of restaurants and such, but easy on and off I-25 and near airport.

The staff is really friendly. Check in was fast and efficient, much needed after a long drive. The Flat panel TVs are a really nice touch and the rooms just beautiful. Breakfast was better than expected and I got good directions to the closestjgd Walmart and good service all around. I will stay there next time I have to fly out of Albuquerque, If they have rooms!

My husband and I stayed here for a night before we traveled on to Santa Fe. We stayed in a one room suite which was very nicely appointed with great details, very roomy and wonderful staff. I would certainly recommend staying here for short trips. Not sure on location as far as Albuquerque but for a night or two this is great!

October 3rd, 2009Let Them Eat Cake!

The staff of the Residence Inn Albuquerque Airport was surprised and excited to have a beautiful and delicious sheet cake delivered to them on Wednesday.  After playing host, home, and family to William V. and his wife for the past two months, the day before the couple checked out they treated everyone to a lovely and unexpected surprise.  Janet Glynn the General Manager said “I could not be more proud of every one of this awesome staff.  I have been pulled aside by 3 different guests this week alone to be told how gracious, friendly, and helpful that every staff member they have encounted is.”

Great job everyone and keep it up!

June 2nd, 2009Wonderful New Facility!

Recent guest Don Preston wrote the following:

“This is a wonderful new facility. Little improvements have moved it to the top of my list. Comfortable furniture, good lighting, a good work place, tall toilets, good food etc. Excellent job on the food serving area! Very professional and useable. Nice BBQ patio. Beautiful pool. Overall a 10+. The best facility of the 8 or so we used on this vacation. Everyone we were in contact with was outstanding!”

Good job to all the outstanding empployees!
