The hotel is the Best Kept Secret in DC….great little hotel with a very friendly staff that has very little turn-over. I travel to DC a couple of times a year and always stay at this property. The hotel has a free shuttle from the airport and to the Metro Station…also to Old Town. What more could you want….free snack kitchen and very nice selection for complimentary breakfast. Rate are much more affordable than staying downtown, which only is a short distance on the metro. Great job Old Colony Inn employees..that’s what make the difference when guest chose to return! Hope to see you soon again!
The complimentary shuttle driver (Ahmed) and front desk (June) were lifesavers! There was a mixup at the airport for our luggage, and June and Ahmed were able to solve the problem by storing our luggage and returning it back to us at the airport later. Through their creativity and true customer service, we were able to make all of our meetings with no stress. These employees went above and beyond and shold be commended.
Everything about this hotel was a delight, the complimentary snack area, the complimentary shuttle, the breakfast, the knowledge of the front desk, the ease of check in and out. Definitely will stay here the next time in the DC area.

I come here frequently on business. The BW Old Colony Inn has everything that you could ask for plus it is reasonably priced. The full complimentary breakfast is certainly a bonus. The snack room on the second floor is a can’t miss for those late night cravings. The staff is the best; always willing to be of assistance. Shulttle service is available from Reagan and the Braddock Metro. They will even take you to the Old Town area. Both the morning and afternoon driver will provide exceptional service and probably the nicest two individuals you will meet in the DC area. If you want an impersonal hotel chain stay go somewhere else. If you want to feel like you are staying with family stay at the Best Western Old Colony Inn.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was quiet, clean, efficiently run and had access to everything we needed. We enjoyed walking around the area and taking the free shuttle to Old Town and to the metro station. I would definitely stay there again.

Really enjoyed this hotel stay. The staff was really helpful and friendly. The best part of the stay had to be the free snack room.
I would recommend this hotel it was nice not overly extravagant but nice for what it was. My husband and i really enjoyed our stay. The staff was really nice and helpful.
It was a last minute choice, but I’m glad I was forced. The stay couldn’t have been better, except I would’ve loved HBO. The trip into downtown Washington was quick and the hotel staff were more than patient with my chilly behind. It was the best, and I will be back in May as a getaway from New York. I will recommend to all family and friends!

Great staff, very clean hotel, close to Metro, and van pick up is important. Snack kitchen breaks the deal - altho I am here for a conference in DC, I chose to stay here because of how nice the hotel is and the quality.
