We had a terrible stay at the Hawthorn suites next door, so were getting ready to leave Galveston altogether. We decided to try the hampton, and i am so glad we did. the Hampton was everything the Hawthorn was not; exceptionally friendly and thoughtful staff, very clean, excellent breakfast, and the overall quality of the Hampton experience. really enjoyed the last half of our stay because of the Hampton.
