MARBLE FALLS, TX (June 2007) - On June 5 Hampton Inn on the Lake-Marble Falls hosted a pool party for the local Boys & Girls Club of the Highland Lakes Marble Falls.  Around 25 children came to the hotel for a playful afternoon.  The hotel employees grilled hotdogs and served the kids.

The  Boys & Girls Club strives to offer a safe and positive place for all young people ages 6-18, to enhance their lives by providing the opportunity to realize their full potential in school, in their homes and in their community.  They do this by offering a wide variety of games, sports, and recreational activities.  For future activities, Hampton Inn on the Lake-Marble Falls also donated $150.00 to the Boys & Girls Club for art supplies.

Hampton Inn on the Lake employees came together June 4th, 2006 to participate in the properties first ever-hosted slumber party. “The idea is to have the employees actually “own the bed” by experiencing the Cloud Nine bed first hand. The best way to sell the product, is to actually believe in it”, said Terri Spiers, General Manager.

The team gathered in the lobby and played team-building games, followed by a little fun with charades and Pictionary. “It was a lot of fun to really relax around my co-workers and get to know them on a personal level” proclaimed Maria, one of the housekeepers at the property. Games were followed by pizza and a movie, “The Shining”-hotel humor!

The team reported to work Monday morning rested and excited with the notion that the Cloud Nine bed, “really feels like your sleeping on a cloud”, a quote from Pauline Ramirez, the Sales Manager, who in fact did have bed head from the great night’s sleep.

The hotel has also added a new exercise room and improved its guest laundry facilities. Also the exterior has been re-landscaped and the porte-cochere refinished all leading to the new automatic double door entry. The meeting room has been completely redone with new carpeting, wall coving and dramatic as well as practical floor to ceiling black out draperies.
