Thousands of fans and race teams gathered in Marble Falls, Texas to view the 17th Annual Lakefest Drag boat races. Boats reached speeds upwards of 240 mph on the quarter-mile liquid race track. The Hampton Inn on the Lake sits directly on Lake Marble Falls in front of the starting line. Guests not only enjoyed a breathtaking view of the races but also received Lakefest t-shirts and were treated to lunch both days. It’s not just a boatrace, it’s a boatrace party!
