The Holiday Inn Express in Farmington has recently added flat panel televisions to all 100 guest rooms. The addition of these televisions has added a more homelike environment to the guest experience. More exciting changes and renovations will be coming soon!

Staybridge Suites Las Cruces hosts its 2nd ribbon cutting on Thursday, April 17, 2008 to celebrate its 28 additional suites, to its existing 87 suite property. In addition to celebrating our 28 additional suites, we’ve added a “Just like home theater”, internet cafe, and additional guest public space area. The Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce, Mesilla Valley Economic Alliance and the community helped celebrate this momentous event.

Comfort Suites La Porte is the host hotel for the May 2008 Strawberry Festival held on the 16th and 17th, which is held at the Pasadena Convention Center FairGrounds on Fairmont Parkway in Pasadena Texas. The Rainbow Warriors, Hawaii’s men’s basketball team, has been staying at the Staybridge Suites hotel in Las Cruces for the Western Athletic Conference Tournament. We’ve been delighted to have them with us and are very glad they’ve been telling everyone how much fun they’ve had while staying at our hotel.
We wish them luck in their tournament and hope they come back to visit sometime when relaxation is their motivation.

Lodging Host Hotel Corp announced today that it has taken over management of the Wingate Inn in Madison GA as of February the 4th. Kevin P. Hilchey, President of Lodging Host, made this announcement. According to Mr. Hilchey “We have a lot of experience in Interstate locations in smaller communities.” According to Mr. Hilchey, “We look for this to be a very good project for us as because the hotel is first new construction in the Madison market in a number years and therefore will be the top of the market product wise. The hotel opened in June of 2007, has interior corridors, indoor pool, spa, extensive free continental breakfast in the lobby area, free High Speed Internet access in every guest room, guest coin laundry, business center and all of the other amenities that the educated traveler is looking for in a hotel product today.” “There is very definitely a strong market for this product.” according to Mr. Hilchey. “The hotel market in Madison was in need of an up to date product. This is the right product in the right market. This product also fits well into our current program of cross marketing of our hotels. With another hotel opening shortly in the Eastern Georgia area we hope to build a strong representation in the area. We will offer our “First Choice” corporate program at the hotel.”

ConocoPhillips honored Hotel Phillips with an outstanding safety award. The award is presented for maintaining an accident and incident FREE property in 2007. Hotel Phillips was the only ConocoPhillips property in Bartlesville to receive this award. Great job team! Keep up the good work.
