LA PORTE, TX (March 31, 2007) For the past 6 years the Comfort Suites La Porte has been the hotel of choice for the Don Schumacher Drag Racing Team during the O’Reilley NHRA Spring Nationals. LA PORTE, TX (31 de março de 2007) Durante os últimos 6 anos, o Comfort Suites La Porte, foi a escolha do hotel para o Don Schumacher Drag Racing Team durante a Primavera O'Reilley NHRA Nationals.
In March of 2007 the Comfort Suites La Porte teamed up with Schumacher to sponsor a community event in historic downtown La Porte’s Main Street. Em março de 2007, o Comfort Suites La Porte conjunto com Schumacher para patrocinar um evento da comunidade em baixa histórica de La Porte Main Street.
The US Army top fuel dragster attended, along with two of their motorcycles. Os E.U. Exército topo combustível Dragster participei, juntamente com duas das suas motos. The event was organized to support the revitalization of Historic Downtown La Porte. O evento foi organizado para apoiar a revitalização do Centro Histórico La Porte. Like most small towns functioning as a large city suburb the community is making a strong effort to energize it’s downtown area and strengthen community involvement. Assim como a maioria das cidades pequenas, funcionando como uma grande cidade subúrbio a comunidade está fazendo um grande esforço para energizar-lo no centro da área e fortalecer a participação da comunidade. Comfort Suites La Porte loves to be part of those kinds of efforts. Comfort Suites La Porte adora fazer parte desses tipos de esforços.
Drawings were held for several prizes, including a free night’s stay at the Comfort Suites La Porte, dinner for 2 at the Main 101 Bar & Grill, and a combination of the two. The Schumacher Racing Team was on hand to meet the public as well, and the drivers were giving autographs to the crowds. O Schumacher Racing Team foi em mão para atender o público, e os motoristas estavam dando autógrafos para a multidão.
