LA PORTE, TX (March 31, 2007) For the past 6 years the Comfort Suites La Porte has been the hotel of choice for the Don Schumacher Drag Racing Team during the O’Reilley NHRA Spring Nationals. In March of 2007 the Comfort Suites La Porte teamed up with Schumacher to sponsor a community event in historic downtown La Porte’s Main Street. В марте 2007 года Комфорт Suites La Porte совместно с Шумахером финансировать сообщества событие в историческом центре города La Porte в Main Street.
The US Army top fuel dragster attended, along with two of their motorcycles. Армия США рейтинг топлива dragster участие, наряду с двумя из своих мотоциклов. Like most small towns functioning as a large city suburb the community is making a strong effort to energize it’s downtown area and strengthen community involvement. Drawings were held for several prizes, including a free night’s stay at the Comfort Suites La Porte, dinner for 2 at the Main 101 Bar & Grill, and a combination of the two.
